I have 98 Taco SR5 with 158k on it I am having a problem with hard shifting 1st and second gear when cold I took the forum advise and changed rubber shifter bushing the nylon head and gear oil still having some problems when the truck is cold but alot better than it was my question the whole job was easy but the old rubber bushing was pretty chewed up IM wondering if I put the new one in right. I place the bushing in with the 4 lines at 12 3 6 9 clock postion facing down into the transmission is this correct or is there something I may have done wrong...

    Thanks for any help :)
