Damn, Id take that back to your tuner. AFR's need some work. Way too low (9's) on that pull.

Yeah man, looks like he dumped a shit ton of fuel in and called it a day. Your AFR's should never be that low and with meht injectors + only 4lbs of boost, you could probably get away with keeping AFR's at 14.7 to save your gas and your cat converter.

I'm at 8 to 10psi? But I agree, 9 is bad, it slowly creeps into 10ish

11.2 is the lowest you want really. But at least you're running rich...better than lean..

The difference at WOT 8-10 psi between 9-~ AFR and 11.5~ is probably a good 10 HP

Yeah, too much gas will keep detonation temps too low and can affect combustion. I would take that back and have him dial it in. I would make sure he tunes the meth injectors correctly as well.

Yepper, bringing it back next week. Mechanic said tuners are going to put it back on the dyno and get better afr's for me. I know in high wot, at like 100mph and super high rpm the speedo and tach start cutting. This is due to conflicting stock ecu and piggyback. Stock ecu freaks out and cuts fuel. I might go to a standalone someday, however, I am happy with how it's turning out. Going to for sure get a dyno video this time. Someone in the shop got one last time but it hasn't surfaced.

Yeah mine cuts out too when I'm punching it real hard for a long time on the highway.
How is your startup and idle?

Start up takes a couple more cranks than stock, idle is spot on, no problems.

    that's some odd shit...

is your boomslang harness pined correctly? adding a piggy back shouldn't do that. check the voltage to the ecm and or AEM, maybe it's dropping at the higher rpms.

Pretty sure it's a protective measure built into the stock ecu and difficult to bypass, not positive though? And only cuts at over 100mph(ish) high speed/ high rpm.

^this... I have no piggy backs and my truck does that anywhere above 90 MPH during heavy acceleration. I've read somewhere that it's the MAF that causes this. All that extra air that the MAF wouldn't see stock (especially pressurized air post-turbo unlike SC setups) freaks the ECU into cutting fuel and timing for a second or so

Must be a turbo thing. URD also sells a signal clamp for the MAF https://urdusa.com/store/Electronic...cond-VC2-Hard-Voltage-Clamp/product_info.html You could set the clamp at 4.9-5V to keep the stock ecm from seeing more than that and freaking out.

my SC pulls hard all the way to redline/speedlimiter. I kinda wish the top end of the 3.4 could "cheaply" be built to handle more RPM. An AEM unit is in my near future.

    Yes. ^^^^^

I lke the maf clamp idea. Like grey223 said, I don't really have a need to go over 100mph either, but, it would be nice in case I ever needed it. Better to be caught with than without. For now I'm good.
