No, Gio has the port fueler. I only have 440 primaries.

No, I'll hear back beginning of next week from them. I'm really hoping they get the maps good and tune the ebc as best they can to minimize lag.

Tuner called and said the plugs were super fouled.......too much fuel maybe....? Duh.....and said it threw a cam sensor code and may have to replace the cam sensor if the cel doesn't go away.

    Any suggestions?

Might be your issue. Fowled plugs will drip instead of spray so fuel won't burn too well which would cause your AFR's to read so low. I would have them hydrostatically cleaned by a proper dealership (don't have your tuner due them unless he can do it in house; he'll probably outsource it).

Not sure what to say about your crank sensor...

9:1 will certainly foul them up. Lean it out to low 11's and it will definitely help. Also prevent fuel wash-out of the oil on the cylinder walls.

The cam sensor is old. Coul be bad. Might not be. That can be tested with an Ohm meter.

This is getting ridiculous. Tuner shop called and said my fuel pump went out (walbro 255) that I put in maybe 3 months ago. Probably why my afr's went down to 9 and such. I know they do go out. How much hp will the stock pump handle? Any suggestions? I will most likely pay for them to install another, at least it will be warrantied.

I doubt there is anything wrong with your pump. That sounds ridiculous. Should be warrantied if it did go bad.

I put it in myself, I bought it in march. Summit says no, call walbro. Walbro said send it in. I can't wait for walbro to figure out what they want to do.....

You can run the stock pump just fine but keep off the boost. From your dyno, should be easy to do.

But I doubt the pump is bad. If it were bad, your AFR's would be higher. Might be a bad FPR?

If you choose to change your pump just go with a denso. I installed one that the supras use I believe it's like 300-315lph. My kit came with the 255 walbro but I got rid of it cause of how many I've read of them going out.

Are you confusing spark plugs with fuel injectors?

No but I meant to say injectors. Fouled injectors won't atomize the fuel very well and it will "drip" instead of spray. Fuel doesn't burn when its a liquid and will just be passed through and metered by the AFR sensor as supper rich.

Very common for diesels. If you see a smoking diesel, chances are it has fouled plugs that aren't atomizing the fuel very well.

    Diesels don't have spark
Plugs, unless you meant fouled glow plugs?

    Injectors. Fouled injectors.

Injectors are designed to atomize the fuel when they fire. If the get fouled or dirty in anyway, the fuel spray won't atomize very well and liquid fuel (un-atomized fuel) doesn't burn. Hence the super low AFR's OP was getting.

But all of that is irrelevant b/c I just re-read this page and realized that he was talking spark plugs. I don't know where I got injectors...

-1 internet point for me I guess.

Yeah the pump cannot be the problem. They are probably scratching their heads at the craziness one has to endure to properly tune bigger injectors on a Tacoma. Josh, since you are getting tuned with bigger injectors (I forgot to tell you sooner), make sure you have them hook the FPR hose up back to a boostless and vacuumless reference like it is stock. Fuel pressure won't be an issue with the bigger pump and a tune. The point of hooking up the FPR hose to a boost ref is to increase fuel pressure under forced induction systems with a *stock* fueling system. 9 psi isn't healthy for that FPR to see longevity wise.
And I hope you don't have the same issue I did... all of that nonsense started with that darn cam sensor
