There should be a little bind in 4wd with both diffs open. I imagine with 4.88's and 35's it might be a little more noticeable as well. The thing with big tires is they basically amplify the forces going through them and into the frame.

My truck that had dual arbs was wired like you said yours is supposed to be. And like black dawg said you don't want to be using the front much. I only flipped mine on when I couldn't get over something otherwise then immediately flipped it off. It's pretty safe to use in really slick conditions though like mud and snow.

wait..i am now just realizing..you weren't 4wd until now right? that explains the steering feel in 4wd. You just haven't had 4wd since 35s right? thats the normal feel but when you lock it it should REALLY be hard to turn.

Yeah, they said the diff is stiffer open than EO...... I told him it was doing it just in four wheel drive without the diff locked. He said their diffs are just stiffer. It might need broken in some too I don't know

Lol....yeah bro. I've been 4x4 but when I built my rear LT I took the front DS off because I re geared 4 the t100 axle. And now I finally saved up enough to put the ARB front re gear So yeah on the street the 4x4 is noticeably different and when it's locked it's insane to turn. I'm so glad I have you guys to bounce things off of because I thought something was wrong with the diff. But like you said Monte welcome to the world of front lockers. Haha

    ah okay.

    Well there you go.

Also, you shouldn't drive in 4wd on dry pavement. Our 4wd system is a "locked" system. Yes the diffs do their thing during turns but if you are on dry pavement you put a lot of stress on the tcase because it does not slip and the front tires vs the back in a turn even when the diffs are slipping, are going to bind a bit.

No more Stormtrooper...... "TK421, why aren't you at your post?"

Tomorrow is spray day. May only get the primer done but I'm hoping to get the flat black on so I can lay the pearl and be done with it.......

Going to finish it off with a matte clear.

Door jams are a pita......! Our doors don't open enough to let the gun get a good angle..... Loving the flat black already though......

Too awesome dude! If Toyota started a re-production of the 98 taco and built it exactly like this but with forged engine internals, I would gladly buy one even if it was $40k

It's fluctuating between 12 to 15. I think I need more duty cycle on my ebc to level it off.....

Wait till you see the vids I'll post. The sun makes it WAYYYY different..... It does look purplish and maroon when it's overcast.....but it shifts a bright blue, gold, brown, and yellow.

Roughly $350 in materials without pearls. The pearls I used were $175 for 25grams. So $525 total......I'm amazed at how many people are giving me props. It's like with paint it's a whole new beast......
