Had fun with a brand new blue Camaro with exhaust a couple days ago. We were side by side pretty even. He may have been ever slightly creeping on me. But for a 98 4x4 35" tire fully locked Tacoma to keep neck and neck with a brand new Camaro was fun. He chased me to the next light and rolled his window down. He asked if I had a turbo. I said yes and that he needs a SC.....lol. He says, "I know."

are you talkin about the full front core support? or the brakets on the lights? because the brackets should have come with the lights.

If you need the metal part the bracket mount too....its the ENTIRE core support, not just a piece. the whole thing that mounts the radiator, the grill, AC stuff..the works.

Had the parts laying around for a couple months now. Just jumped on it last night. Hood is absolutely badass! It buldges way up. Gives about a 5 inch rise over OEM hood. And it vents through the back of the hood too around windshield. It sits about 1/2 inch above the wiper cowl to let air flow through. More upward room in the engine bay for sure. Still a lot to go. Looks like a lot of little modding to get this conversion to fit. Hood and latch were an easy go. Hood is an R/T style fiberglass and is noticably lighter than OE. Going to flat black vinyl wrap it too.

I'll post up more pics for sure as the conversion progresses. It is insane that hood bro! Once I put it on I was like oh my god! I found it off eBay for $500 and made a side deal. Not bad for what it is and the quality is spot on. Fit everywhere near perfect. Ican't find the listings for these anymore I just tried looking.

All day in the garage. Got a huge chunk knocked out. Hopefully get it finished up tomorrow. Way more work than I thought. Had to fab up some light mounts. Plus I had wire for days on my other assemblies that all needed reworked. Getting closer to moving legally again.

This 01-04 front end is way better imo.....more curvy in front and up top. Way more room behind the grille.

I love that hood. Did you buy it or did you cut it?

Bought the hood. Side deal off eBay. It's an R/T style hood made specific for 01-04 Tacoma. It's changed the look so much I'm weirded out by it......but I think I like it. Might just need getting used too.
