Oh for an update. I have a working clutch system, the fusebox is extended. Tonight a stock radiator and fan clutch are going in. The charging system wires will be cleaned up, and fuel system will be inspected as well.

I'd love to boost my truck but no way the motor could handle sand at the desert. That's so much heat. Dually do you use the autotune feature on your tuner or sit the truck on the dyno and let the magic happen there. I used an autotune on my sportbike and it worked amazing.

Theres really no 'autotune' feature for Haltech.. It will be street tuned (at idle, cruise and WOT) then off to a dyno dynamics dyno just a few miles north to dial it it.

yea, shouldn't be too big of a job. Notch the crossmember, notch the oil pan... engine mounts, etc..

Mine will be a lot more bare-bones track oriented.

who knew Turbonetics was so big, they def make a bunch of diff ones. i' thought the only major players were garrett and borgwarner. and i prefer borgwarner efrs, but i'm a bit biased

Precision, Blousch, Forced Perfomance and Holset are few more big names.. I see Precision turbos used more than any other brand.

Truck runs and drives pretty well. The clutch is freakin awesome, the trans is a little notchy, just have to get used to it. The truck will start to make boost then leans out and goes no where. I need to check fuel pressure, I have a feeling thats the culprit.
