    White Line LCA bushings.
My mechanic replaced the LCA bushings 2 years ago, less than 10k on them, and now one is bad and the others not looking so good. Any sugestions on after market replacements? Sorry to start a new thread, there is probaly one already started but I couldn't find much. Heard some mention of Energy Suspension or White Line, unfamiliar with both.

Your mechanic changed them with OEM or aftermarket? I'm asking cause OEM should last way more than 2yrs.

I just did energy suspension a few months back and I am happy with them so far. They were pretty easy once I did the drivers side for practice.

I suggest you buy Whiteline poly bushings and use the video my buddy Sean and I made for this job. Good Luck and Happy Wrenching!

On the LCA bushings, Toyota lists 2 different part numbers, one for the forward and one for the rear bushing does anybody know the difference and why? I'm considering the White Line but they look the same for both.

That makes sense. My next question is, If they are installed wrong would that make them wear (fail) faster?

If they aren't preloaded they can wear quickly.

I hope I don't sound too ignorant but I'm not sure what you mean by preloaded.

Preloading is when you leave the end nuts a little loose and put the weight of the vehicle back on the control arm (I used to put a couple block of wood under the control arm and then lower the vehicle) and then tighten the end nuts. This puts the bushing in the position it will operate in before you wrench them down.

All suspension components should be tightened to their final torque value when the vehicle is sitting on its own weight at ride height.

If you install poly bushings it don't matter since they have zero bind.

My polys are so loud now. After few years of washing out I kind of wish I went OEM.
