Before I bought my truck I was looking all over trying to find somebody who makes a 285/70/16 tire. I looked at Toyo's and a ton of other brands with no luck, So I ended up going with 265/75/16's.

Only tires I could find that were close to that size were Swampers.

Don't know how I missed it or maybe it's a newly added size to their Open Counrty line but Toyo does make a 285/70/16. It's the same width as a 285/75/16 (33) but only a 32" diameter which works out better for 4 banger guys like me that don't wanna re-gear but might want a wider footprint and be able to air down a little more than with 265's on an 8" wheel. Or also for those that think a 33" looks stuffed on a 3" lift.

Only thing I noticed is they are fairly heavy, like all of their sizes. Plus Toyo OC's are some of the most expensive tires I have seen. Not really a big differenace but a little bigger.
