    Who would have thunk swaping rear shocks would have been such a PITA!:mad: Frigin rust.... The driver side Billi spewed its internals so I guess the swap was just in time.. I also decided not to go with the piggy back clamps so if anyone wants them?

    New CV, axle seal and Solid bushing to replace the needle bearing for the drivers side....

    What does that do? I think i need to replace my needle bearing on my driver side.

    It takes out the play with the OEM needle bearing and tightens up the clearance in the race to the spider gear. Its only needed on the drivers side and since my CV's have a shit ton of both on and OR miles I just went ahead and got a new one and will rebuild the OEM one for a spare.

    Mine is making a grinding clanking type noise, coming from where the cv enters the differential on the driver side.

    Yea that sounds like the needle bearing going bad. They have about an 1/8" of lash in them to begin with so if you have a bunch of miles I would say thats a good start. Have you grabbed the CV close to where it goes into the Diff and pull and push to see how much play you have?
