a.c.fan problems

    hi, i'm new to this forum: it's a 2006 pre-runner 4.0 my fan in the cab was working fine yesterday, but the next time i turned it on it went off. checked all the fuses in the cab and under the hood and can't find any bad, including the relays: please help it's hot down here in louisiana!

    double check that the cabin filter isnt clogged

    Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
    Check the connections to the fan. It's under the passenger side dashboard. The round part is the fan. The large black plug next to it is the resistor.
    No fan at any speed=fan problem. No high speed=relay problem. Only high speed=resistor problem.
    Toyotapartscheap.com has the lowest prices I've seen.

    In the future, please use the search function. I have answered this and many other problems many times. We're glad to help, but tired of answering the same questions every week;)

    Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
    ^ Pull out your cabin air filter, use an air compressor and blow down into the fan. Mine does this from time to time, too much dust or debris blocking the fan. Let us know if that works.

    Oh, make sure your fan is turned to off, otherwise when the debris is worked free watch your fingers.
