Has anyone else noticed that the A/C bairly blows a cool breeze on days over 90?

I had a beat up old S-10 before and even on days close to 100 I could get it to freeze me out but my brand new Tacoma bairly provides relief on days over 90. I guess I noticed it more this summer because we had the most 90+ degree days in the history of the city.

**As long as it is under 90 it runs really cool and very comfortably.

Has anyone else had this problem or noticed it?

I'm lovin all the Carolina members we are seeing now! My AC runls like a sub zero freezer. A few people have complained about this and they are just low on coolant. Definately take it back to the dealer, you should have very cold air

It hit tripple digits here in greenville during the summer and mine was still icy, you definately have a problem. Get the dealer to look at it

Do you mean not cold enough or restricted airflow?

I was referring to not cold enough.
I went into the dealership for my 5,000 mile service and that in itself was an amusing experience. I guess I just got a crappy service mgr assistant whatever.
When asked "What value do you add since your service is $15 higher than the average competitor for the same service." Response: Well, we have factory trained techs and at a local shop you have someone making $6.50/ hour working on your vehicle. Do you want someone like that working on your vehicle? That didn't go over well with me considering I teach sale.

So they then replied to the inquiry on the A/C with:
The temp of the air coming out is 50 degrees... I was irritated at that point so I didn't bother saying "J@ckass I asked you to check the high & low pressures not the cabin temp when its 70 outside"

Anyway, I have a conversation scheduled with the service director tomorrow.

    I had a leaky A/C hose on my 07.

At first my wife would complain that she was hot (?) and I would be freezing.

After a month or so it really would not cool very well at all.

The change was kind of gradual, so we did not notice it right away and it seemed to blow colder on the drivers side.

After replacing the hose - instant Antartica!

The A/C in mr X-runner is nice and cold , but the compressor is whiney and loud at times. I say at times because it's not a constant noise and most noticeable at idle.

check condenser for crap. clean it from with hose or pressure washer but be careful. Electric cooling fans or mechanical fan.
