I use the compressor the most for tires and air bags on truck. Like if I know I am going to have a heavy load or trailer I will bump up the rears 15-20 psi. It does that fairly quick. But I have no idea how long on a close to flat.

Just be careful with the hose on the compressor fill. I had it for close to a year filling up many, many times and never one problem. I let my stupid sister use it ONCE and she some how ripped the fitting on the end off  I would assume she could not get it off the valve stem and just pulled up hard? The good news was I bought at a local sears and they warranted it :D so I walked out with a brand new one no questions asked.

Plus if the power ever went out you could recharge your cell phone for over a week with this.

Good to know about the compressor. I've had mine for several years now, I just have not had to use the compressor for much since I have the Mv-50 and one in my garage. I have used the inverter a bit though, for laptop power during an outage as well as camping etc. So far I have never had an issue with my unit, but I also bought one for my father in law, and his only lasted a year or so, and he got it replaced at Sears. Eventually he managed to kill that one too, and just tossed it. We actually bought him a different brand this Christmas.

I will have to double check but if I remember right the battery is replaceable in this unit?

I think a lot of people don't realize that you HAVE to recharge these every so often? Mine gets a recharge every 1 to 2 months.
