I'm seriously considering the CBI 3rd Gen as my front bumper on my new '17 Tacoma, but I have a couple questions:

    1) Is there a good reason (aside from aesthetics) to choose the low hoop version over the one with full hoops protecting the headlights? I'm getting an aluminum bumper if that makes a difference.

    2) A buddy is selling me a Warn XD9000 winch, and I'm wondering if this winch will be compatible with this bumper. If so, where does the control box go?

Thanks in advance for any advice/ feedback.

Icom IC-706MKIIG UHF/VHF/HF radio,KC Hilites 20" Flex Bar and ditch lights, Safari snorkel, BedSlide Classic, SnoMaster USA expedition series fridge.
Aesthetic preferences would be the only reason to choose one without headlight protection.

For the winch I can't attest to the XD9000 fitment, but I'm running the Zeon 10k.

If you wheel it, you will want the full hoops covering the headlights.

Branches love to bust things up on tight trails.

I like the mid hoop for looks but also protection for my TRD pro grill... while its not 100% protection the looks and added prevention of someone being able to just snatch my grill was good enough for me!

Full Hoop. I thought it was gonna look huge with just 3 inches of lift.. it looks amazing.
