I have a 09 and have noticed that when my tailgate is down it goes down passed the parallel point of the bed. Another way to explain it would be to say the tailgate cables have stretched or are too long. I noticed another taco in the parking lot had it worse than me, so I talked to him and it turns out it was a 08 and he said he never noticed until I pointed it out. Anyone else have this problem?
