So the girlfriend ordered some smoked headlights for me for Christmas and before they get here i want to know if I'll have to re seal em to prevent condensation and if so what is the best way to keep water out?

Best way would be to split them and reseal with butyl. But most just run a bead of silicone around the edge.

Lots of threads on this topic :), I bought some for my gen1 and never had a bit of problems. After I replaced mine on my gen2 I did run a nice bead of silicone around the mating seam and used a little pressure with spit on my finger to push the sealant into the seam. Also, you might clean the seam with a little isopropyl alcohol prior to putting the silicon on. I don't think personally pulling them a part at this point does anything but risk mucking something up. $0.02 :) Good Luck !!

Ok so no condensation problems but the beam pattern sucks ass. You guys think swapping the smoked lens over to the factory reflector would be best?
