I had to replace a stripped wheel stud that involved removing the caliper and rotor. A tip that I didn't use but is worth using IMO, to ensure zero vibration on the wheel. Before removing the rotor mark its position with chalk on a stud to the rotor, this will make sure the rotor seats correctly and isn't moved to a position that rust has it seated incorrectly, causing vibration/pulsation. I wire wheeled my hub and rotor mating surfaces, but this small step is worth it if it keeps you from having to remove the caliper and rotor again to eliminate a vibration issue.
