    Just bitching!
I got to work 5 minutes early and was sitting in my truck listening to music when someone pulled up next to me and parked where it wasn't even a spot. Opens her driver's door and slams it into my truck driver's side flare. The whole truck shook. I froze for a second in disbelief. I jump out and see someone I work with attempting to get out of her car and laughing. I politely reminded her of what she did but she continued to laugh but half heartedly apologized. She left about a quarter inch black nick on the quicksand paint. I don't want to seem petty but it is a new truck. I have never done this to anyone even with my older vehicles. My trucks always looked pristine. I kept my composure and did not harp on it. Trying to act professional.
    Thanx for listening, rant over.

not petty at all, this is why I park far away from congested lots even if I have to walk a great distance too many ignorant imbeciles who could give a rats ass about your truck or even their own car.

My family constantly gives me crap for parking so far away. Usually in the back where no other vehicles are. All for the same reasons you mentioned.

There's always 'that guy' that still has to park right by you. Happens to me ALL the time. That's why my sliders poke out more and I have door moldings. Being OR I don't have paint on the my flares and I have a Smittybilt beaver hitch for the back. I just need something in front.

To the OP it's definitely frustrating for this to happen and some people just don't care. That's why it having a new car just makes me so paranoid. I truly believe some people intentionally hit you because of they're jealous.

Here's my old Golf R that I moved to the side over a non parking spot. Well look at the Camry A-hole. The entire parking floor was literally empty.

My previous truck was a 2002 ford sporttrac. No nicks or dings on the paint. The frame was another story, all rotten and disintegrated. Bah Ha Ha!

My truck is lifted and I have rocks sliders that has a slight kick out. Most people who opens their door and hits my truck, usually does more damage to their door then it does to my rock sliders or tires (another reason to lift your truck)

This happened to me several years back. I parked along the curb and this moron does that. The space next to him the people had parked normal too, so it wasnt like he needed to do this.

Yeah, I get static too because I park as far away as possible, usually not in between the lines, seems like most people get the message.

OP, tough spot to be in since it is someone who works at the same place, but I personally believe in "what goes around comes around" , hope that's true for you.
