In my old truck I was sitting it waiting for someone and this SUV pulls up next to me on the uphill side.

Kid opens his door and lets go, the damn door hits my truck bounces off and then slams into my truck again.

I jump out to check the damage and yell at the kid and by the time I get around the truck the mom and the plethora of other children in the car are out. So I calmly tell her what happened and she doesn't even look and tells me its fine and walks off.

I was livid but didn't want to cause a scene (in front of all these kids) so I grabbed my phone to take some photo's and sure enough she was right there was no marks/dents on the fender.

Her audacity is what ticked me off even if she was right...

+1 Again for lift, Sliders or Nerf bars. Way more damage to their door.

I always wanted a black car and bought my first (and only) one a few years back (outback). First month some kid smacks the door and put a nice, very visible ding in the black paint. Mother gives me a "sorry" look and walks off. I guess there isn't much they can do but still annoying.

Any guess as to which vehicle is mine now? Of course, I work on a college campus and it's summer so the lot isn't full like in the fall. I'll have to search around some for better parking in a couple months.

Think that's bad? My dad throws my doors open and slams them into various objects.

Those are NFAB. The steps for sure stick out enough for protection. I have a 3" lift, that in conjunction with the door profile (out at the bottom) of most cars will allow their door to contact the bar part of the Nerf rather than my painted door.

There is no solution other than fully armoring up and line-xing your entire rig, there will always be that person unfortunately. People just don't give a fuck about respecting other people's things nowadays. I honestly don't care I wheel my truck and have plenty of scratches and had a dent which was resolved with front armor. lol I would recommend buying a beater vehicle and drive that around all the time and just look at your truck in your driveway because people will be people period. Sorry OP sucks I know. Someone rear ended me the 1st month I bought my truck. Just waiting to put on my HC rear and I'll never have those concerns anymore. Armor up and don't look back! :thumbsup:IMG_6151.jpgIMG_8818.jpg

good set of sliders will fix that issue for the most part, they slam their door into them instead of your body.

I waited for about an hour to confront the person but they never came out. I live in a 200 unit complex so idk who they are. I wouldn't damage their property like that due to them fucking my shit up in retaliation. Was hoping to catch him face to face. Which will eventually happen.

Take the insurance money and then just paint yours flares black or go and find the dupli color match paint and redo the flare with a couple of clear coats.

that def wont buff out. cant stand people who are disrespectful of other peoples stuff. I would make her insurance pay for repair/replacement. Sure, its not a yooj deal, but this bish needs to own up for her dumbfuckery, hot or not...

I had some dude at work walk up to my truck as he was talking on his phone and just lean up against the tailgate with his arms on the top of the tailgate like it was his truck. Little did he know I was watching him (I was on a break) and I walked right up to him and asked him "what are you doing?". I get the stupid "huh?" look. I asked him if that was his truck and he just looked straight at the ground and said "ah, naw man", I said "good because its MY truck", his response "sorry man" and he walked off. I left it at that, only because I was at work, lucky mf'er......
