If you're doing a 3", don't bother with the TSB. You'll end up getting Dakars eventually anyway and someone is paying for all those "free" leaf packs (current/ future Toyota buyers). Do it right the first time. Get extended length shocks. Stock length doesn't allow the Dakars to fully flex (even the OME socks). Make sure you get brake lines too.

What is the military wrap feature?

What is spring wrap? Is it the same as axle wrap?

Too poor to list anything interesting.
    Dakars.

I load up my truck, but it's nice not having a saggy rear end. Ask @SMKYTXN what it was like when I drive behind him at night.

I got my Dakars off Amazon with free shipping because I already had a prime account. Even if you don't have a prime account get them off Amazon and pay for a prime account it'd still be cheaper than shipping. Boom, leafs and a Prime account for a year.

Yep, spring wrap is the same as axle wrap. A military wrap spring has a full-length spring just under the main spring that wraps around the spring eye to prevent it from twisting. This works kind of like a traction bar but without sacrificing ride quality or suspension travel. Someone explained to me that it was originally used in military applications, hence the name.

I added an AAL to my leaf springs when my truck was new. 30k miles later the rear end is sagging and time for Dakars! Wish I would have spent the extra $300 at the start.

Get the new leaf pack since you're replacing the front suspension. Might as well have everything new at the same time. I had dakars on my last taco and they rode great with or without weight in the bed.

My rear end has softened with my TSB 3+1 pack, which is only 3 years old now. I put a 2x 45 pound boat batteries in the bed of my truck, and it lowers about 3/4" inch. I stand in the bed, and I can bounce it rather easily.

Do we need alignment again after installing Dakar packs in the rear?

It's not necessary. I've changed rear ride height by a couple inches at a time and never noticed any adverse effects. It might change the caster and camber slightly, but I would be very surprised if it had any noticeable effect. The toe should be fine regardless, which is what really matters. You could always check the camber yourself with an angle finder, and if it drives fine then the caster is fine too.

If the alignment is fine now, then it will probably still be good enough that most shops wouldn't even adjust anything if you brought it in.

What's everyone's opinion on a 3-pack AAL? The one(s) that replace the overload spring. TIA

I recently installed OME885/5100s in the front and 5100s + single 1.5" AAL in the rear. This is with brand new leafs from Toyota recall. First thousand miles the rear sat a bit higher than front (like stock), which is crazy cuz the front is pretty high on my truck since it's a Prerunner with no armor. But now about 1,500 miles later the rear AAL has settled a bit too much and the truck no longer has rear rake with no weight. Add camping gear and it's barely sagging. It will only get worse. Luckily I got my AALs half price only spent about $50. I think soon i'll be upgrading to Dakars.

It's a nice pack if you're looking for 1.5-2" and want a better unloaded ride than a single leaf AAL offers. The only downside to the 3 leaf AAL is that they're not as strong as a single leaf AAL, so if you're towing, carry a constant load (like a shell), or carry heavy loads regularly I'd go with a single leaf AAL or (even better) a new leaf pack.

If all you normally carry is a passenger and some camp gear then a 3 leaf is a great choice.

    Dakars, no question.

Get a shock relocate and go to a 12" travel shock if you can.
