glad to see someone else went this route too. really a simple and effective spare tire solution. served me for two years until i couldn't take the lack of bed space

Yeah I'll eventually do a bed rack and mount it on top so I can still slide stuff under when I need to. Its so quick to take it out when I need the bed space though.

And did your CV tear because of the angle they are at you think? I've been keeping some water proof grease on mine where the "fines" make contact. Not sure if it helps or not lol

I think the one boot was just clamped closer or something. my driver side has no wear marks. could be from wheeling and only that side spinning at a jacked up angle. I've heard silicone spray for the boots.

Also the inner OEM boots have far less flex in the rubber material then the outer boot

Sorry if this has been covered already, they are very, very cool but are the retrofit headlights as effective as the stock headlights?

willing to bet on that. FXR projectors and Osram SVS bulbs. yeah the a4 would beat a mini retro all day.

Yes I would....without a doubt! I was amazed at how good the lights looked at night! And BTW, those FXRs are not that much better than the D2S or the mini's....

smh. go read on hidplanet. I'm willing to put em head to head. I had OEM Hid on my 370z too, color flicker, cut off etc much more crisp with clear protector lenses and FXRs

So that new bumper. Not so new anymore. A 97 year old man clipped my parked truck. Bent the crap out of my tire swing out, either tweaked the bumper or frame. Tailgates toasted too. Not even two weeks old, waited six months for it. Awesome right ?
