Aaron...did you ever contemplate just getting the single hoop over the fulls? I like the look of both on the Pelfreybuilt, but I'm in a dilema over which one to get? Your truck is absolutely outstanding btw...

I originally was intending on just the center hoops but after seeing all three in person. Full hoops is the way to go! Offers more headlight protection and looks MEAN! Some of our local guys have actually added hoops to theirs because it looks better. I really want the aluminum version of Pelfreys front. Could use the weight savings!

I hear ya on the looks with the full hoops! I saw Masiks rig with a single hoop and like it as well, but I don't want any regrets. Do the hoops extend above the front of the hood in the front? Was wondering how the visibilty is when traversing on a down hill grade and if the view is obscured in any way.

Yeah..I have a buddy with the Pelfrey front who originally bought just the center hoop and then added fulls later as well. I'm trying to make a solid decision now, so I don't have to do that..:D We Oahu TW members are doing a group buy right now through Pelfreybilt and most of us are getting the aluminum fronts as well. The Off-Roading in Oahu is not as extreme as in the mainland, so aluminum should be ok with us. I'm excited to get mine! I'm thinking of painting the front OEM white on the truck to be different instead of the normal black or Powder coat. I know paint is more suceptible to chips and scratches than PC, but there's not a lot of road debris flying around here either. And I've faired well off-roading on Oahu with a stock bumper and no major chips/scratches...

No issues with visibility, the hoops do impede working under the hood a bit but not really anything to worry about.

I wouldn't color match, powder coat or line x your bumper. I suggest rustoleum bed liner spray paint. Way easy to touch up.

if you line x or rhino line it'll look like my sliders. Such a waste of money. But before I really went wheeling in rough stuff they held up fine.

Got another bead lock finished today. Now I just need my other wheels to show up :/ still can't belive UPS lost them. Takoma decided she wanted to hang out while I torqued all 24 of these things. ame8amy5_29031240b0c711ce960a66c7c200678e6b84611e.jpg

I know it dragged on a rock. But if the steel was blasted it would of scratched off not a cunk.
