I used Lexan Glass from Home Depot, bondo, and epoxy.

The write up is in the link above.

Edit: I guess it was a pretty shitty write up. Haha. For the curved part inside the lower cup holder, I cut out a piece from the cup holder I cut out and then filled the cracks and all the imperfections with bondo. The extra Lexan on top was to make the surface flat because it is slightly concave.

You could start smoking. This fits perfectly in the small cupholder.

This won't fix your problem, but it gives me a chance to show mine off.

Looks good! I love the leather too.

    "This won't fix your problem"

Reminds me of "Don't know what your problem is but I bet it is hard to pronounce"

Last 3 vehicles I owned were older BMWs. There were a total of zero drink holders between all three of those. Now I have 7 within reach of the driver seat.

I drove a Ford Edge for a few months. Nice car, but be glad you have so many cup holders and storage bins. I never had anywhere to put my phone if me and my wife both had a cup.

front one, 12 oz can of your choice. back driver one, gatorade, back passenger, water or more gatorade or backup 12 oz can.

i've come to love them on long drives. they also hold reciepts as someone stated and often times that one nut, bolt, screw, or anchor that i need

I'm guessing you don't often have a passenger along...or one who drinks anything...

Yeah, I am kind of use to not drinking in the car. And any longer trip would be in the RAV 4.

I don't mind there being a cup holder or 2 but space is at a premium and they have done a bad job of using it. You can put a nut, bolt or screw in any storage space, doesn't have to be cup holder.

Only problem I see here is that it is the silver one that will get scratched up and ugly from use. That is one of the things I swapped out when trading in my base model 05 on the 08 SR5. I didn't want the silver one, I kept my black one. It also helped add more black to the interior to go with seat covers and black WT floor mats. That space isn't wasted unless you just never use it. I appreciate having the 2 big cupholders. I use them for cytomax water bottle on the way to go riding mt bikes. The cell phone comes off the belt and rides face up over the small cupholder since the clip on back of it keeps it from sliding anywhere. You can also stash stuff underneath the cupholders out of site too. Those joined 2 hold folded papers til you get home or any number of different things. They hold tools or parts if working on something in the cab. The beauty of it all is that you can decide what you need that space for and do whatever works for your needs. It's only wasted space if you don't ever use it. Does kinda suck they put a silver one in the nice black center console. Wish my center console was black.

Yeah, the silver has to go too. I just got the truck last week. I will have to evaluate how I use them, and think about what kind of mod I would like. I was just hoping someone already did a rad mod I could copy/piggyback off of.

Yeah, at first I was wondering WTF I needed 3 cupholders in the console and 2 more in each door in a reg cab but the console ones do get regular use for different things and at least one in the driver door is used all the time. That leaves the cubby in front of the shifter for sunglasses since reg cabs don't has overhead consoles.

    I got a better one :D

Start chewing tobacco. I've got "spitters" and "rinsers" (as my buddy and I call them) that take up most of the cup holders within reach of the driver. My buddy who doesn't have as many cupholders has them rolling around under his seats.

With 9 cupholders, I'd suggest picking up both ciggies and chew. There is plenty of room for both spit cups and ashtrays.
