I am thinking about purchasing a new 2017 Tacoma. I'm not looking forward to going through the purchasing process with dealers. Can someone please tell me what would be the most discount you could get without trade in? It seems like average you get $1,500 based on what I see on this forum, and if you can get $2,000, it will be a great deal? I signed up Costco Auto Program too and waiting to hear back from a dealer.

Another question: Any of local dealers don't have specific truck I want. They said they found one in east coast and will take 14 weeks to be delivered to west coast! Is that normal delivery time frame? I should ride my bike to east and drive the truck back.

    Hi LookingWest,

Was your truck you wanted located in a different state and your dealer can get it in two weeks? I posted question here too, but they said it will take 14 weeks (from east coast to west coast) for the truck I want. That sounds so ridiculous...

Work out your deal online first, no calls and don't go to the dealer until you are very close to what you are willing to pay. Play more then one dealer. Here on the east cost around me (PA,NJ,NY, and MD) have tons of trucks. It might be worth your wile to work out a deal here and pay $500 to have it shipped. Use this link to get what the invoice price is, you can get invoice or under here.

I wonder if there are more trucks available in east coast than west. It looks like the link for the invoice price is missing--can you please post it? Thank you!

I think it all depends on the model, availability varies. However, I know there are a lot more trucks in the northeast. I'm not sure where mine will come from, they're working on that right now. In 14 weeks you could have one built! Talk to some other dealers.
