IMG_0776.jpg 285/65/18s. Nitro tail grapplers. Love the look and stance, not the mpg, between 14 and 16. Trimmed the inner plastic wheel liner. Removed front mud flaps. No rubbing. Very heavy tire, loud at highway speeds, excellent mud traction. Only down side and something you may want to think about is this tire picks rocks up and pelts my truck.

Only at full lock on the street? Not off road though, right?

Watch out with spacers. Good chance they'll just make the rubbing worse elsewhere.

Haha same here. After I off road in gravel it's like world war 3!!! I start ducking for cover until I realize it's my tires letting go of these projectiles and it's just my tires going to war with my truck lol

225 90 16. If these skinny tire guys are correct, then this is your best bet. It will fit between every crevice and form into every obstacle and give you 30mpg and from 2D view look like 33" mud tires!!!

So most likely I'll clear my uca and bump into other rubbing? Yes I do no off-roading all street. I'm considering taking them back and getting the 275 now

You may still rub with that width. The stock wheels just don't stick out far enough to clear the UCA for much. If you want to be able to completely clear and not rub on anything, yet keep stock wheels with no spacers, the 255/80r17 are proven to do so. They're "pizza cutters" and not everyone likes them, but they weigh way less so you'll save on MPG as well.

why put 285 spare under why? It will affect your clearance and might prolly melt your tire with the exhaust:notsure::facepalm: not to burn someone ideas but yea I would put 285 spare under stock location.

That way you have a full sized spare with you. As far as "melting the tire" you could easily wrap the exhaust with some header wrap in that specific location. Issue solved.

Idk maybe just me but its ugly looking. To see an full size spare underneath the bed, specially when your running hug clearance bumper. I'd rather strap them in the flat bed.
