If I disable my ABS with the fuse removal and leave the *faulty* equipment there is there any risk of the ABS equipment compromising my brakes? I’m considering doing this delete but it seems like a lot of work and I don’t need the engine bay space.

Does this work on a 2000 Tacoma?

I ran my truck like that for nearly two years with just the fuse pulled and all the plumbing and pump in place with no zero effects.

If I only buy the parts 47313, 47312 for the left and right front brake lines, can I remove the ABS pump and route from the T to left and right brakes? Does the ABS interact with the rear brakes at all?

The 1st Gen: All pro 3” lift (650 lbs coils, expedition rears with bilstiens),Timbren rear bumpstops, ubolt flip, diff drop, carrier bearing drop, 33’s on beadlocks ,ARB Bumper, winch, hand throttle, ARE canopy, roof bars, poly bushings all around minus the body mounts. The 2nd Gen: Leveling kit, roll up tonneau cover. 265/75/16’s
did you ever get it finished? I’m getting ready to order parts, but seem to have conflicting part numbers. The OP listed 47312 and 47313 in his parts list and this is what the brake line diagram shows, but these appear to be incomplete part numbers. There is a post that shows a complete part numbers, but those don’t seem right when typed into Toyota parts deal’s website or any other. Can anyone help me with the part numbers?

Yeah been on the road for a while. I didn't order any new line, I got a hand bender and double flare tool and made my own. Took 2 days to run all new lines, fit everything install the disc brakes and line lock and delete abs.

I changed the air freshener to a new one, one time.
I called every custom hose company where I live and none can make these custom hoses.. said the thread pitch is really weird on the 3/8” fitting. I emailed the spot you mentioned above in Snohomoish, see if they still have em.

Does anyone know if the abs pump is connected to the rear brakes? My abs is randomly activating (suspect broken abs sensor gear teeth) under light braking. Rear brakes are functioning properly and I don't want to remove/replace the proportioning valve. I am hoping to just install non-abs front brake lines (47313, 47312), remove the abs pump and rat nest of brake lines, and bleed the system. I probably will remove the abs fuse (small one) and dash light in the meantime but want to add a second battery in the pump location eventually.

Yeah they’re for sure connected to the rear. There are 2 lines running down the frame to the rear. I’d have to go in and check what you’ll keep and what you won’t. I have been planning on doing this just haven’t gotten to getting new custom lines. The ones listed in the write up are purely subject to pv placement. So might wanna either go long or get a tube bender and make the new ones yourself.

Im considering this ABS delete...What about the ABS control harness, wires etc? Is the harness just left hanging, or can you undo it back to a certain point? I too could use the extra engine bay space for another battery
