It is a spst switch which means single pole single throw. You can connect the two wires either way to the switch.

It could be that or any of the connections. Did you get that identical switch? Do you have a multi meter?

I got a little bigger switch because I could not connect to it. Too small. No multi meter.

Yea it wasn't that hard if I think about it now. Just had to buy bigger switch because those prongs were so small my female end wasn't even close to connecting to it

So, the disconnecting the abs is no good by simply disconnecting the plug? I know it shuts it all off and the abs light comes on, and doesnt go off til I reconnect it and turn the truck off and back on again.

I think Shepdog is referring to the stock Denso connectors

which is essentially the Landphil method which is a different thread

Did this mod today. Question - You say three lights could be on but i have four (my truck is a 2012) the TRAC OFF light also comes on with the ABS, Locker and Car with squiggly lines lights. Is this normal for the newer trucks? Guess the only xtra one im seing is the TRAC OFF light.

Thanks for the link, I understand it now, I think. Okay, just to be sure, I have a manual, 4x4, regular cab, 4 cylinder. I have three buttons on the dash, the traction control, the clutch start cancel, and the RSCA button. Landphil's method is the one to use then, right?

Did this mod today to my 2013 DC OFF ROAD and it worked as it should, I couldn't take the ABS in the snow anymore. It did turn on 4 lights as others has described in the 13' model, the three lights the OP mentions in addition to the TRAC OFF light.
