I’m guessing others have had this happen

yellow ABS warning light occasionally comes on. Seems like no change in driving.

maybe once every 1-2mo, on for a bit. Next key cycle or two, it’s gone.

haven’t seen any torn ABS wheel speed sensor wires. But the truck is old. So I’m guessing they could use being removed to clean, white lithium grease, and reinstall. Especially the rears because idk if I ever touched those.

I know I’ve “serviced” the fronts having to take them out to do work in the area.

this has me want to find a good basic code reader, just in case for things like this, otherwise, or even friends cars, to get a baseline idea of what’s going on if there’s a MIL.
I think it’ll probably be $30 on Amazon

I use a foxwell, it was cheap and works good. Resets all code airbag and ABS

No cheap $30 code readers look at ABS so read the specs before you buy.
Foxwell at Amazon and Walmart $120-130 model NT630 and does all codes and live data.
Zurich (used to have Centech that I have) ZR11 for 130 at Harbor Freight same as Foxwell specs I believe. I've used mine like 4 times in 10 years.
Note I see a $58 ZR4 online says reads ABS but not sure it really does and no airbag or live data so I would have to see in my hand to believe it.

Best option borrow a friends or local TW members.
