ABS light on

I just swapped the rear end on my truck last night. I reused my axles and brakes, so the sensors are the same. I went out and "visually"checked the connections, replugged them in, the wires didn't look pinched or cut.
I had the battery disconnected for about 30 mins, light still comes on.

So, the problem is either the wires on the new rear axle, or I jacked something up on my truck??

anyway to see a code or reset the ECU?

I guess next I can put a meter on the wires and/or pull the sensors out and clean them, even replace them with the ones from the old axle.

any suggestions?

 

i got code reader that I can reset if needed....btr to find the problem b/c resetting does not really solve the problem...However I am curr. in afghan....

 

Found a smashed and broken wire, fixed it and the abs light is still on
any way to reset without a dealer?

 

Well, I went and got lunch came out and the light is off!!

Bumping this thread up I just had mine come on tonight. What wire was it that was smashed and broken? The truck isnt throwing any codes on my scanguage.
