This is a 2013 Tacoma with just over 200k.
I own the truck, son drives it for the business.

All 4 lights came on, and stay on. Truck seems fine, drives normally.

Took to the dealer, they said they couldn't pull any codes, so after going through their diagnostics they are telling me it needs a new complete master cylinder assy which is like $5k

After getting it back from the dealer, I followed instructions using a jumper at the OBD connector to pull the codes using the ABS light counting flashes, and it shows the following:
    31, 32, 33, 34, 49, 58, 94
    31 - 34 is a malfunction of all 4 wheels sensors
49 is open circuit in stop light
    58 and 94 I can't even find a reference to.

I followed instructions to clear the codes (tap the brake 8 times) but after that all the lights are still on.

I have ordered a new brake light switch. Any other suggestions?

Double check that 94, I don't see anything about it in the FSM. Here are the two entries I see for 58.

Did it happen after a wash? After messing around in the engine bay/ under the truck? Could it be an unplugged or damaged wire? Most likely the sensor is at fault and that's why you're getting so many error codes related to it, because all the different systems rely on it.

"the sensor" - which sensor? The ABS sensor(s)? All 4 of them?
It happened while he was on a business road trip, in May. Lights just all came on driving down the highway. It wasn't because of getting a boost, I asked him about that, seems to be a problem with these trucks.

I pulled every relevant connector, and cleaned plug and socket with electronics cleaner today, under the hood (computer/electronics tech). I pulled and tested every fuse.
I haven't looked at the ABS sensors as yet, I am waiting to see if a new brake switch solves the problem. ETA on Saturday from NAPA.

Just one of them may throw the entire system out of wack. I'd give your brake switch a shot and then proceed from there if needed. There should be some tests you can do with a multi-meter to test your electronics if needed.

Certainly not a common issue. Did you ask the garage how they came up with a brake master cylinder, and they said no codes came up. Even though you yourself pulled code. Sounds shady.

I don't have the $267 invoice they charged me to diagnose it, to quote what they said. It's in my other truck, will have tomorrow.

Ok, so I received the new brake light switch Monday, I go pickup Tacoma from my son, and notice all the warning lights are off! They've been on steady for weeks. So I changed the switch, confirmed it was working, still no warning lights. He advises me the lights came back on the next day.
Here is the quote I got from my local Toyota dealer:

That is the Master Cylinder and ABS System all rolled up into one mass of electronics / hydraulics mess. Even still 5K seems to be a bit high in my opinion. The ABS, TRAC and VSC are all directly tied to that unit. I'm not sure what it has to do with the Differential Lock.

The Recall does however look promising.

Wishing you the bestest of luck with the dealer.

I have a 2014 with the same problem. Dealer told me it would be 3k+ parts and labor. Wondering how you made out with this?
