    Exact same issue on a 6 hour trip across PA. Thanks for posting this as it reassured me to finish the drive. Now I also have an idea of what to change. Does the switch have a plug at the harness or did you have to splice it in?

    Look at the picture. It shows the plug hanging next to the disconnected switch...
