ABS wire securing on aftermarket UCA

Hey folks,

other than a zip tie around the arm, what are folks doing to secure the ABS wire to rhr UCA? Is anyone welding on a tab to secure the wire to the arm? I would think this would be a litrle cleaner.

I have Camburg UCAs and they come with these little clamps. They work perfect.

Thanks. I have ysed those before for wiring. Don't they need to attach to a stud though? A lot of the tubular arms do not have the stud

 

I think you have the idea backwards. The hose clamp goes around the UCA tube. The ABS bracket, then bolts to the hose clamp tabs. Or remove the ABS bracket, and then use 2 different size hose clamps.

 

Thanks. Makes sense. The previous posts with the cushioned clamp showed a small diameter that I figured was for the wire. Looks like they do make them in 1.5 which should fit the arms.
