Nice! Do you have the dimensions of the platform you used still? I am short but my boyfriend is the same height as you.

    thanks!

I may or may not have a collar and leash tucked up under my driver’s seat for emotional support.

I went for the soft platform approach and sewed up this seat cover. Works great with the kid seat while keeping Gus from falling down to the footwell89DF42E7-AB04-4456-83F0-135D658F226A.jpg

    Here's my humble contribution:
1/4" sheet of plywood wrapped in automotive carpet that's sitting on top of a 1/2" thick foam mat that's sitting on a DeWalt Toolbox on one side and a slide-out drawer on the other. In the center, I used another piece of thick foam in found from a box that a computer was shipped in.

On top of this, i add a dog hammock to contain the hair and messes.

I am getting ready to build something like this for my doggo. I have the exact same setup as you. No rear seats, just those two storage compartments. I am also looking into a rear window replacement with the slide but it will have to wait. I love the simplicity of your design. I can easily put it/take it out as needed for dog trips. Will have to post an update whenever I get around building mine. Hoping to start buying some materials this weekend.

Finally got around to it this weekend. Kept it simple, but works perfect for what I need!

Got mine done tonight. The 2022 access cab has two small wells and two even smaller tool storage areas. I found that Craftsman stackable tool boxes fit perfectly in the wells. Cutting the half inch plywood was the hard part.IMG_20230411_182324.jpg IMG_20230411_182336.jpg

Just got around to finishing this project for my 2015 AC.

I decided to do a 60/40 split so I can set myself and 2 others with the dog still having enough space to be comfortable. Added extra supports in the middle so each platform is stable.

Will probably sew a custom pad down the line out of a baja or saddle blanket to match my front seat covers.

For me, I removed the jumper seats and supported the platform with two Craftsman stackable tool boxes.IMG_20230412_095541_336.jpg IMG_20230412_095541_402.jpg

my super simple/basic platform. I wanted something simple that could be adjusted, when moving the passenger seat, forward/back

Did you remove the center console in the rear?

    Check build thread!
Here's my very redneck take on it... But it's for my cat who loves to come in the truck with me. Need to find some carpet for him. I've also got a scratching post I'm working on mounting to it for him.

Nope. The center console remains; in fact the thickness of the 1x6 boards matched nicely to it. If I wanted to pull everything out...and go back to full OEM, its could take a couple minutes & I wouldn't need any tools.

Help needed, I need to build a platform for my German Shepherd. Issue is I need to leave one of the seats open for my daughter to sit on . I need help figuring out a way for the dog to cover one side, the middle cubby and leave one seat open. I’d like to leave the seats down and build on top of them so, if my daughter isn’t with us the platform will still be somewhat even with the empty seat. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please any pics of this has been done before.
