    Im surprised there is not law or fine that can punish ( <--not the right word I'm looking for) people for doing this stuff. Do they get a mark on their insurance record or anything for filing a false claim and being caught?

    Around here, the adjusters normally insist on inspecting the "damaged" vehicle first and take photo's as well. Pretty hard to get one over on them if it was previous damage or something unrelated to the incident. They would have to prove any "injury" claims as well, which will be hard for them to do, with a very minor damage incident like this.

    But unfortunately some folks will try to squeeze out a $50 check any way they can...

    So have you taken your bumper off? I took mine off yesterday. Absolutely zero damage to any metal at all, well except the trd skid plate that TW says is useless. :taco:
