I want adaptive cruise control on my 2017 tacoma TRD off road. I have looked online for any clues as to whether the 2017 model year was ever offered with adaptive cruise control, but I have been unable to find anything about it so I figured the best place to ask for help would be here. Do any of y'all have adaptive cruise on your 16-17 model year rigs? and if so can it be added to mine that was not equipped with if from the factory?

We have manual seats & drum brakes, and you want adaptive cruise from the factory? Funny guy!

I would give my left pinky for adaptive cruise control

I'd throw in another pinky for power folding mirrors.
An index finger for OEM bi-xenon headlights that turn with the wheel.
A middle finger for pow... never mind, can't communicate effectively without middle fingers.

None of the 2017 trim levels have adaptive cruise AFAIK, I just looked again at the e-brochure for 2017 and there's no mention of it.

I def preferred the manual seats after having to stand there for 10 seconds waiting for the electric seat to move back after my wife drives our other car. Lift bar, slide back.

That's why the idea is to have power seats as an option. So we can both get what works for us.

I don't like this response, I think it is fair to have high expectations for a company as technologically advanced as toyota especially for the price that we pay for these trucks. My TRD off road with "tech package" was 30 grand, and it doesn't even have remote start or built in garage buttons. We need to start demanding better toys inside for that price.

As long as we keep buying the trucks, Toyota will keep putting out the bare minimum.

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
Mark my words -- IT will be on the 18's, probably as a option -- but it will!
WE have it on our 15 Subaru Outback limited (optional -added about $1100 to a limited the way we wanted the car configured)-it comes with the forward (and on 17's --Backward) crash prevention. Laugh and say all you want -- once you have it you will not want to be without it. Especially the Adaptive CC. It takes so much "effort" out of long -boring highway/interstate driving. True there are a few that don't like it --but DAM few! I never thought I would want or need it , but if it would have been an option on the 17 Tacoma --I would have paid to get it.
It has already saved a crash with my wife driving --Car pulled into her path -- Subaru quickly put on the brakes!

Good on ya. Still have my E93 as my funcar. Taco's more the daily driver now.

Power seats with memory are fine. One button and it's back where it's supposed to be. No memory? No thank you.

No it is my feelings -- the previous poster just stated It is avail. on the Ridgeline -- What is your guess-- Sorry if I misled you, but Toyota is too big and too smart to be outdone by Honda. The technology is there, and Toyota has quick access to it --they just need to engineer where to put the two cameras that Subaru uses. Toyota owns 16.5% of Subaru BTW.

An Economy Car like a Corolla has it, seems like it should be on a Tacoma with a Premium Price!

I suggest you go back and read my post IN CONTEXT. I wasn't talking about adaptive cruise in the bit you quoted. I don't believe the Corolla has either power folding mirrors or bi-xenon headlights.
