That camera is made to be mounted with the screw peg facing up, so if you're planning on mounting it another way it'll be upside down on the image. I tried that one out a while back but it didn't fit the satoshi nicely anyway so I returned it

I'll be finding out soon! Looks like it at least allows for the image to be flipped for front camera use and has the option of having distance lines or not.

Has anyone else purchased the kit mentioned from camera source? I got it and the instructions are shit So I'm kinda stumped. There is so many video plugs and when I hook everything like the directions say I can hear the module clicking but the screen doesn't change.

Ok finally got it all working. Thanks @mCat for the wiring diagram! On another note I was able to make this camera work.

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00RD05MOO/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I had to take it apart and basically turn the lens and chip 180 degrees. To be able to do that you have to take out the waterproofing rubber that's sealing and holding the lens and chip in place. Its pretty soft and pulls out in pieces. I'll seal everything back up before I actually do the install but for $16 you can't beat it!

This post has the wiring diagram if anyone needs it. This isn't my topic so I can't edit the first post and put the info in there.

It's very simple to install, I'll talk to Chris again and see if he can get some better deal since the group seems to want to get more people added in for a buy.

A few posts ago some one showed a picture of the following camera in a toyota emblem.
I purchased this and now would like to know how to mount it.
There were no directions or brackets, clips, etc.
    Any one have any ideas.

Super glue or some sort of epoxy?! How do you plan on wiring it up? I want mine to be activated on the navigation screen with the push of a button. Been wanting to do this for a while...

I bought something similar, but mine came with a plastic mounting plate & nut, so that the camera juts out from the front of the emblem. Looks kinda lame & the image isn't great from there, so I'm looking to mount it somewhere else.

So, which switch did people use to successfully install this mod for a front camera? 4PDT, DPDT, or SPDT? Where did you order it from? OTRATTW?

I'm not sure what kind but I ordered mine from Air On Board. I got it in the size that fits below the AC controls. I'll finish this mod next week hopefully.

Got a link or any recommendation for a specific switch that would work?

That's a nice switch. I'M looking for a 3 position one now so that I can use the second set of wires for the top of my shell. It's getting a bit hard to see through there occasionally when I do need to look back
