Does anyone know if our trucks with manual mirrors have the wiring to go to pwr mirrors? Like swap the mirrors, plug them into door harnesses and plug the switch in and go? Can't remember if there was a plug behind the switch panel when swapping in oem fog switches and haven't had door panels off to see if the wiring was there.

The wiring was not there on my 2009 tacoma. However it would be easy to install the wires if you wanted to.

I ran separate speaker wires and wires for a LED in the door handle when i upgraded my sound system.

Right now just trying to gauge the preparedness level I need to achieve. Would really be cool just to get mirrors & switch & plug'em in and be done.

Pretty easy to pull the blank faceplate out ahere the operational switch would go and look fot the connector. It is also easy to remove the door panel to check for the wiring plug up by the mittor.

Since you have an 08 you might get lucky and have the wiring.

Yeah, I know and will do so. Just thought I'd take a shot at gathering up some insight from the knowledge pool here. I knew it would probably be open it up and see but figured I'd ask.
