For all you lighting gurus out there, how would I go about wiring some additional reverse lights that will light up with my stock reverse lights or when I flip a switch?

It's been discussed on here.....search around and you will find it. There are a few different ways to do it, I have a fused line from my battery, through a relay. The relay is triggered by either the reverse light circuit, tapped under the dash, or from the parking light circuit, tapped from the fuse block. I used a single pole double throw switch to select how the new lights are triggered.

    .
If they are LEDs you could wire them into the stock
reverse light wiring at the tail lights, if you want to go halogen, you will most likely have to run another circuit from the battery with a relay.
