Hey, like where you mounted that LED bar, what kind of bolts or screws did you use to hold it down? If bolts, how'd you get a second wrench in there

 

First I just used the screws that came with the bar. They're self tapped into the crash bar. Now I use some bolts using the same method. Nothing wrong the first way, I just think bolts are harder to break. I know I heard of some bolts that have keys for security purposes, but haven't really looked into those.

Something like this. Where it's a different pattern so you can't loosen easily with common tools.

Just got my dust filter wrap from Outerwears in the mail today. I hated switching the entire intake back to stock when I was going to hit the dirt. Then recently put a pillow sheet over the filter. That worked great; no dust on my K&N and took about a min. Now we'll see how this new dust filter will work with dust.

Only $25 and K&N doesn't make a dust filter for my specific filter.

Just did the Anytime Fog Light Mod. This was too easy. I don't know why I didn't do this before. I took some pics for the guys that want to do this, but don't have confidence. Took 5 mins max.

Got me a new panavise mount for my cellphone. Tired of my phone in the cupholder.







Universal phone mount from Amazon. $10



2 upper screws from home depot I had in my tool box.



These came with the phone mount, but don't need anymore. Were made to hold on to the A/C vent.

 

Just installed my All Pro U-Bolt Flip Kit. Easier than I thought. I also managed a way to keep my stock bumps without any welding.





I hammered down the 4 edges and did some grinding so they can fit perfect.

How difficult was the flip kit? You can do this without changing other stock stuff right? I was.reading somewhere you need to move a shock mount IIRC?

 

Are you going to attend are John bull run at the end of this month?

 

Too easy. I heard ppl have problems but none for me. Nothing else to change. Just took out the stock u bolts and put the all pro. Also managed a way to keep my stock bumps. I think for the shock mount, that's for 1st Gens.

 

Was thinking about it. Dawson5 said he got a little damage, but if I have a spotter with me I'll most likely go.
