    Hey There,

I'm new to this great site. Currently, I'm driving by ol' 94 regular cab 4x4. It's been my baby for years. I'm thinking about getting a new(ish) Tacoma and would love some advice. I'm currently in Los Angeles and though I don't necessarily need 4WD out here, it's still nice to have when it rains. Here's a Prerunner I found for sale (I'm stuck on the Regular Cabs). Does it seem like a reasonable deal(see link below)? Thanks a lot to any and all who respond. Much appreciated.

Go to Edmunds.com to find out what they're worth in your area. My initial reaction is you might be able to find that cheaper with 60K on it but I don't know much about regular cabs and 4cyl.

    Welcome, btw.

sounds a little steep for 2wd and reg cab and then 60k damn, i might give them 11 or 10k. i bought my acc cab 4wd power everything 2.7 it had 1,600 when i got it and only paid 17k practically brand new. go to kbb.com or nada.com and put the specs in and see how much they say its worth

thanks a lot fellas. If i can get 11 out the door it might seem reasonable. the 2WD on the regular cab is a bit of a concern though. The lack of weight over the rear tires will probably make the tail whip out a bit on wet surfaces though this isn't as much a problem with access and quad cabs (i think anyway).

mmm I don't really see an issue with 2wd in rain, I drove my rwd ranger (LSD) in oregon on ICE. It wasn't fun, and it wanted to slip out but I got where I was going and back without incident. It's more in driving technique than anything.

Also, tires make all the diff. My G35 was squirely as hell with ZR stickies on it.

    Too few to list.
Hmm... Mid April my cousin traded in his 07 Regular Cab 4cyl auto with 26K miles on it at GoSCH toyota in Hemet, CA for $10,162. I'm sure the dealer turned around and sold it for about $2K or so more so about $12-$13K more so that one you're looking at seems high to me.

This one is a 08 auto with 4K miles on it for $14K. I know it's not what you're looking for exactly but I'm just showing you price differences. The deals are out there, you just gotta search.
