URD equal length spec u headers, Mightytacoman 3* retard cam gears, and an HPtune by JustDSM should get you some nice gains

what type of numbers we talking here? 10%-15%? I’m about to do said mods but with an IMS instead of equal length headers. Do you think the headers are really worth the hassle?

At Calgary altitude you might get 5-10% with cam gear and tune. But it will drive much nicer.

Start with maintenance and consider the supercharger down the road.

I'm in Calgary and I work at a Toyota dealer, if you need help feel free to ask.

At 140k I did spark plugs, front wheel hubs, and all the driveline oil. I went from 110L to 100L fuel usage for the same trip. I was shocked! I appreciate the offer, Alberta strong lol!

So do you think the specU headers are worth it? The exhaust gear and headers should compliment a supercharger right?

Yes but a matching tune is the only way to benefit it. Krave auto is a Tacoma specialty shop that actually might have more experience with those aftermarket parts.

I honestly never really notice any differences with the 4.0 tuned or supercharged even. The money never feels well spent at our altitude. I've driven many v6 supercharged, even URD tuned pulleys and it still feels sluggish. Which sucks after spending 6000+ dollars.

Right on thank you. I’m definitely going with a HPtuner and tune from JustDSM. My main goal is towing performance and fuel efficiency. I generally have a light foot anyways. And I’ll be into Krave in a few weeks for some TC cam tab gussets. I need armour against alignment techs…

I think the equal length headers are definitely worth the trouble. URD advertises something like 22 RWHP and 34 RWTQ just from the headers alone. Having a tune and some supporting mods should be a nice increase with a JustDSM tune to make it all work well
