My rear bumper and hitch were completely rusted out that I decided to replace them. I found a guy with a UHaul receiver hitch for pretty cheap and I bought this bumper online. I had to use a grinder to get the hitch and bumper off so it's clean. Now I'm just looking for any advice/tips on how to install both with as little trouble as possible. What issues has everyone seen installing both?

Show us pictures. OEM has three parts. The Hitch, which attaches to the frame. The bumper bar that attaches from the hitch to the outer bumper cover. I'm curious to know how yours goes together. Good Luck!

That's why I'm asking. I'm wondering if anyone's had any issues before I start it

Whether or what kind of issues you may have is probably going depend a great deal on the exact layout of the mounting holes on your parts.

    Maybe consider posting more pictures.

the hitch is pretty straight forward and the bumper usually mounts to the hitch. I literally just took my hitch and bumper off today as they need to be sandblasted and powdercoated

This should help. You may or may not have issues with the two aftermarket parts playing well together. Having swapped for a plate bumper - you will want an impact gun and a good jack and stands.
