Just wanting opinions on whether its worth $50 with shipping to get one of these as opposed to a OME filter?
Have the deskplate mod and need a good filter

I'm thinking it's worth it. I just ordered one yesterday.

I'm a victim of advertising banners on this site and too much $$ sitting in my paypal account..

I bought one of AFE's Dry Filters and have the deck plate mod as well. I really like it because you don't have to oil it.

It's done a very quality job of keeping dirt/dust out of the intake/engine. I took it on a 3-week off-road trip through the desert this summer and it did a great job after eating a lot of dust.

Highly recommend one. URD sells them for a decent price.

I'm not real sure what the AFE looks like for my Tacoma...any photos anyone?

I'm considering getting the following AFE filter for my 07 Jeep Rubicon:

Ummm, it looks exactly like the OEM one except that the filter element color looks like the filter you posted.

Thanks. The site I ordered from had no photo, and it apparently looks nothing like the Jeep one.
