This. My previous C55 AMG had 2 (yes, 2 filter boxes for the 5.4 motor) K&N filters installed from the previous owner and even after I replaced them with OEM, the MAF went bad and needed replacement.

Never trust manufacturer's dynos. Everything claims to make 15-30hp. You want independent dynos from members.

I would wager that this makes 0hp 0 torque.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Funny... I have had a drop in K&N filter in my air box for 100,000+++ miles. No problems with the Mass Air, no problems burning oil...

And I don't even do a very good job keeping the filter clean.

That ^^^ I remember when I put on my Magnaflow and everyone was saying it won't do anything blah blah blah waste of money... then OVtune comes online and says the restricting thing about this engine is the EXHAUST.... Everybody shut up after... just sayin.

Good for you OP - do what makes you happy. IF you feel 20HP on the SOP Dyno so be it. I have the Pro intake and a Magnaflow cat back no tune... I'm happy, my truck is not a dawg.

    1.04. Kbro2s. ICONS.
There is a huge difference between a free flowing exhaust system and a stupid 0.5” spacer on your intake.

One is plenty. AFE CAI was tight as it is and its tapered/conical.
