    Hi guys,

I recently purchased the Hi Rise Bars by KB Voodoo.

I’d like to get an RTT for a few beach trips with my lady.

Is there an RTT option that can comfortably fit 2 people (I’m 6’2 and about 170lbs, the girl is maybe 5’2 and 100lbs, so we don’t take up too much real estate inside a tent) and will run me less than $500 or so? I am mainly doing this as a test run to see if it’s something I could get into. Plus I just really like the looks of the RTT on a taco lol.

Or maybe someone is selling a used one for a fair price in the RVA/DC/Pittsburgh area

You’ll probably have BEST luck looking for a used RTT, and you’d be lucky then still. The cheapest I’ve seen one go for is $600. They tend to hold their value pretty well because it’s a highly sought after item. Best bet if you’re wanting to keep a budget in my opinion is to purchase one of the tents as seen in this thread. Otherwise, save save save and keep your eyes peeled on the marketplace, sometimes you can score a good find!

I don't believe their is an affordable option out their, you should just use a traditional style tent until you can afford a quality RTT.

Is it really worth the money for a couple of beach trips???
