After Market Heated Seats??

Has anyone added after market heated seats to any of the seat covers? I am looking at getting Clazzio seat covers and was looking at getting a heated seat kit also.

Doesn't clazzio offer an option like that?

What switch style came with yours?

 

Ahhh. Never actually looked into it myself. If you were to go an alternative non-clazzio heater and it were to malfunction and damage your expensive covers, they won't care. If you use their heaters they'll probably cover it. Something to think about.

 

You might want to jump over to the 2nd Gen forum. I recall some discussion on that.

So my heated seats are turned on by a little switch on the side of the seat. Look on my build page and you'll see it in the photos

 

I just got that kit but ordered it off clazzios site. They work pretty well! Wish I would've known they were cheaper elsewhere

 

I'm really glad you brought the twice the price up.

I'm about to do the exact same order and I believe they are about the same. For half the price.

 

This is another kit I am looking at. It has a different switch that may fit in one of the open slots??

Not a fan of the "dial" switch. I like the single heat double heat switch.

I was actually thinking I could drill a hole in the blank spots and slide the small round switches in.

 

I am leaning towards the round switches now that I looked at @YDCtaco build. They looked nice and clean in the sides.

Seat covers. I already have heated seats. Is there any thing I need to be concerned about

 

I added heated seats under my OEM cloth seats. Love them. (Didn't install myself).
