after stereo install no interior lights

ok so ive installed 3 stereos before and never had any problems, well i did it in my girlfriends silverado today and now none of her interior lights will go on, i disconected the battery before i did anything, there was a dimmer wire that i didnt connect because there wasnt another wire for me to connect it too. can anyone help? do u guys think i blew a fuse or need to connect that dimmer wire? ive never had a dimmer wire on a harness before

 

the dimmer wire from the vehicle needs to be capped off, if it shorts to anything it will blow the fuse for illumination lighting..

 

ok so i checked all the fuses and they were all good, i connected the dashlight wire to the on off power wire to the stereo and im good to go now
