aftermarket 15 inch wheels on ext cab 2.7l 4x4 (Pics please)

The calipers are the same unless you have VSC. Which I doubt. Some 15 x 8 wheels ith 3,75 BS will work on your ext cab. Pro Comp, American Racing wheels will work Reg Cab and ext cab calipers are the same unless you have VSC.

 

so if the stock BS is 4.5 then how come 4 inches wouldn't work?

 

4in would work depending on the wheel. wheelers type b 15inch steelies have 4 inch backspacing. The lower the number the farther the rim and tire will stick out.

From what i have gotten out of all of this is that backspacing doesn't matter with a wheel fitting unless of course it is more than stock, its really only to keep a wider tire away from the UCA. Its the offset that actually pushes the inside of the wheel itself farther away from the mounting surface/caliper.

 

also even tho technically it is a 15inch wheel, like my technical 16 inch wheel Toyota cuts a small lip into the wheel where the largest parts of the calipers stick out so they clear. Hence why many shops say u can only fit 17's or larger which we all know is bs
