Hello everyone, i have browse around to see if anyone have swap the stock radio for an aftermarket, i can't find any manufacturer as of yet offering a harness, brackets etc. The stock radio is been working flawlessly on my truck but latter down the years i would like to swap-it out for something up to date. I have a 2005 4Runner that I've swapped the radio for a double din with DVD, Nav, HD/XM Radio and love it! specially for the kids watching movies. It seems that the stock radio for this new Tacoma is a Pioneer according for what have read somewhere on the web (?). Any comments or pictures are welcome, thanks in advance!

My 17 is a Panasonic works fine except the antenna leaves a little to be desired. A few on here have posted replacement radios.

Beat Sonic has an adapter kit for the iphone that mirrors into your factory head unit for the 2016 models, not sure if they have an updated kit for the 2018. Not sure if you'll have functionality for the backup camera and other features with this kit.

The mirroring kit is from Beat Sonic. Price is $249, but you will need to buy extra components. It depends on the smartphone you own.
It will work with the 2016-2018 Tacoma models.

When I bought my truck the dealer was telling me that all of these entune Head units are manufactured by Fujitsu Ten. Where are you guys seeing that they’re manufactured by pioneer/Panasonic? Just out of curiosity.
