could bridge it to the fronts for 90 watts and run the rear off the deck power if you feel they are underpowered

Alpine ILX-650 is a solid head-unit. Just installed one in my 4runner w the brake bypass and front/rear cameras. After having Apple Carplay in the Tacoma, I have to have it in the 4runner as well. Total convenience.

Sounds good, I noticed it doesnt have the feature to identify the artist and song playing. Surprised that was left out on that unit. Im definitely leaning that way though.

Via what Bluetooth? honestly when you have an Android Auto CarPlay head unit you spend most of the time connected via that. so whatever app you use to play music should mirror that to the headunit.

Off normal radio but you are right, it should mirror from the apps fine. I may have to see what deals i can find for that radio. The shop i worked at years ago said they haven't been able to get any in recently due to back order. That would have been a nice discount if they could

I know what you mean, Im debating on the powerpack amp bridged to the fronts or going with a nice 4 channel to run the fronts and a sub. I plan on leaving the rear stock for now running off radio power

I would go the full size amp if I were you I did the power pack and kind of regret it, to go back and change it now is way more work than what I want to get into.

Gotcha. May have to take that advice. The hertz amp I’m looking at would do 85 to the fronts and 260 to a sub. Any idea what the sensitivity is on your Rockfords. If lower than 92 or 90. They prob do need a lot of power to get the volume you want

You said that you have Pioneer DMH-W4600NEX and what I am assuming is the iDatalink Maestro RR (not the RR2), do you also have an Alpine amp? Did your truck come with the JBL upgrade or is it stock?

Wire Diagram for your iDatalink is found here PDF page 334 (2015 non JBL)

Wire Diagram for your DMH-W4600NEX found here. Sorry your headunit's wire diagram is junk but you should pay close attention to your rear panel terminals. Wire colors are mentioned on PDF page 4 on the left hand side. I took some masking tape and labeled all of the wires then you match your head unit to the iDatalink's wires. These wire colors may be different so you might be connecting an orange/white to an orange wire so you'll have to pay close attention that what the iDatalink is sending or receiving from. Take your time and you can create your wire harness yourself. Once you create your harness, it'll be plug and play. I hope that helps.

You will need to disassemble the lower console. Behind the aux/usb port are tabs, pry up and push out towards you.
