Any aftermarket companies that offer hubcentric wheels for the tacoma? All I have seen out there are lugcentric, and the OEM wheels are too narrow to run a 285 or 315 wide tire

    Thanks in advance

Plenty of people run 285's on OEM wheels.

was told from the tire places I have visited that it's unsafe to run a 285 on a 7" wide wheel.

Go to another tire place. 285 is fine...I wouldn't run a 315 on 7" rim though. Plenty of people on this forum are running 285's on stock toyota wheels. I plan on running them as soon as my 265/75/16's are worn out.

    What brand of tire?

    285/75/16?

Check the suggested rim range from the manufacturer of the tire your wanting. It should be on there website.
